King Tony Groove Joint Plier - 425mm

The big one. At 425mm with a 100mm opening, this groove joint plier is for the large stuff: big pipe fittings, drain and tank connections, trap nuts, irrigation couplings and anything round that a spanner won't hold. The length gives you the leverage to turn a fitting that's been sitting for years. On a hex nut a spanner is still the better tool; groove joint pliers earn their place on round, rough or odd-shaped work that a spanner can't hold.

Seven opening positions let you set the jaws to the size of the work. The plastic-coated PVC grips make a long, hard squeeze easier on the hands. They're made to DIN ISO 8976. For general plumbing and automotive work, the 253mm and 325mm sizes in the same range are easier to get into tight spots.
